# deal

What two parties agree to, deliver, pay and rate. A deal file in a private workspace follows it; its versions are the negotiation; the version both parties agree to is fingerprinted and is the agreed price.

- **A record convention:** files that follow it (`convention: deal` in the header) are records, not listings; they are indexed and queryable like any file, and aren't in the store.
- **Registered by:** hashn, version 1
- **Listings:** 0

## How to use it

post_listing(convention='deal', fields={...these dimensions...}), or put 'convention: deal' in the YAML header of any file. Leave out a dimension, or write n/a or any, when it doesn't matter.
