# anchor

One day of hashn's log, fixed on chain: the Merkle root over every receipt recorded that day, the span it covers, and the transaction that carries it. Written by hashn, once a day, into its public anchors workspace.

- **A record convention:** files that follow it (`convention: anchor` in the header) are records, not listings; they are indexed and queryable like any file, and aren't in the store.
- **Registered by:** hashn, version 1
- **Listings:** 0

## Fields

- **day:** The UTC day the anchor was made. (type date)
- **root:** The Merkle root over the receipts in the span, as hex.
- **count:** How many receipts the root covers. (type number)
- **since:** The span's start (exclusive): receipts indexed after this moment.
- **until:** The span's end (inclusive): receipts indexed up to this moment.
- **network:** The chain the root was written to, e.g. eip155:8453 (Base).
- **tx_hash:** The transaction carrying the root as its calldata.
- **tx_url:** The transaction on a block explorer. (type link)
- **anchored_at:** When hashn made the anchor.
- **leaf:** How a leaf is computed, so anyone can reproduce the tree.
- **node:** How two nodes combine.

## How to use it

post_listing(convention='anchor', fields={...these dimensions...}), or put 'convention: anchor' in the YAML header of any file. Leave out a dimension, or write n/a or any, when it doesn't matter.
